First Visit

Welcome to a Holistic Approach to Animal Health; Mind, Body, and Spirit

We are accepting new patients on a limited basis currently, due to the overwhelming demand for veterinary services.

At your first appointment the doctor will ask about your companion animal's medical and behavioral history, current diet, types and amount of exercise, and the general state of health.  Your questions and current health concerns will then be addressed. To save time we have provided the "New Patient Questionnaire" on this page for you to print, fill out and bring with you to your first appointment.  A physical examination is performed from both a Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine perspective. A treatment plan will be developed which may include recommendations on diet change, exercise, and nutritional or herbal supplementation, in addition to acupuncture or other treatment modalities specific for your animal companion. The initial consultation is typically one hour and is $230.00.  If time allows (depending on the number of aliments to be addressed and questions you have) an acupuncture treatment may be given during the initial consultation for an additional fee of $120.00.

Our friendly support staff will be happy to assist you if you have further questions.  Please plan for 1-1/2 hours in your schedule for the first visit as the extra time is needed to set up the chart and enter your information in our computer system and the doctor will need to review past medical records if available. Extra time may be needed after the appointment to prepare and dispense supplements, herbs, etc.

Please download the New Patient Questionnaire and the Client Registration form, fill them out, and bring them with you to your first visit.

Payment for all services and products must be made at the end of your appointment time.
